SeaWorld Orlando is raising the stakes this fall with the return of its fan-favorite fright fest: Howl-O-Scream 2025. Celebrating its 5th anniversary, the after-hours event promises more fear, more frights and more fun for all fans of Halloween.
Running select nights from Sept. 5 through Nov. 1, the separately ticketed event delivers thrills with new haunted houses, scare zones, live shows, themed bars and terrifying treats.
Meet Havoc: The New Face of Fear
New for 2025, Howl-O-Scream Orlando unveils Havoc, a menacing figure set to become the event’s central character. Described as a towering presence riding a custom motorcycle, Havoc symbolizes the event’s darker, more intense direction for its fifth year.
With visual elements inspired by fire and destruction, his character will appear throughout the park as part of immersive storytelling experiences designed to enhance the overall atmosphere of fear and suspense.
Three All-New Haunted Houses
This year’s event brings three new haunted houses to life:
- Widow’s Nest — A haunted Victorian orphanage turned twisted lair of The Black Widow.
- The Collector’s Curse — Luxury becomes a nightmare in this house of cursed relics and monstrous obsessions.
- The Rave Yard — A neon-drenched underground party where the dead never stop dancing.
Fan-favorites return, including Water’s Edge Wellness Center and Farm 51, offering horrifying experiences that blend sinister sci-fi and psychological horror.
Four All-New Scare Zones
- Ashes of the Forgotten — A scrapyard haunted by ash-covered spirits.
- Woodrot Hallow — A swampy forest guarded by a monstrous entity.
- Echoes of the Glass — A shattered mirror maze filled with distorted souls.
- Trailer Park Tragedy — A deranged, backwoods nightmare where the locals don’t take kindly to strangers.
Live Shows That Shock and Thrill
- Throttle (New) — Havoc and his nightmare crew tear across realms in a high-octane spectacle.
- Monster Stomp (Returning) — Jack the Ripper headlines a musical horror show that’s equal parts haunting and hypnotic.
- Grave Danger Thrill Show (New) — Hellzapoppin’s world-renowned circus sideshow delivers sword swallowing, fire breathing, and feats of horror-packed strength.
New Themed Bars + Fan-Favorite Venues Return
Guests can fuel their fear with a lineup of Halloween-inspired drinks and bites across Howl-O-Scream Orlando’s themed bars and food huts. All-new bar experiences debut this year, including Scorchline and The Butcher’s Block Tavern. Fan-favorite watering holes like Tormented, Space Gate 3 and CarnEvil Curiosities also return, each offering sinister cocktails like “Poison Apple” and “Liquid Asphalt.” Dining options include Zombie Tacos, Dracula Inside-Out Sliders, Nightmare Nachos and Monster Munch Mac ‘n’ Cheese.
