Ambros Daytona Brings a Modern Edge to Florida’s Shores

Ambros Daytona, a new 50-room boutique hotel in Daytona Beach Shores, will officially open in Jan. 2026, introducing a design-focused and wellness-driven approach to Florida’s Atlantic coast. Located along Atlantic Ave., the hotel represents a new chapter for Daytona Beach, a region long linked with motorsports and conventions.

“We’re thrilled to bring Ambros to Daytona Beach, a destination known for its motorsports and vibrant coastal culture but with untapped potential as a high-end beachside getaway,” said Louis Caiola, Co-Founder of Ambros Daytona. “Daytona Beach is a special place for us, and we are excited to host our guests for a hospitality experience where relaxation, wellness and community come together in perfect harmony.”

Repositioning Daytona

Ambros Daytona was developed to reposition this stretch of shoreline as an upscale leisure destination. The property retains the framework of a 1960s 3-story oceanfront inn, now reimagined through extensive redevelopment that includes a rebuilt seawall, a new pool area, a parking lot and landscaping. Its design integrates clean lines and neutral tones with European furnishings from St. Damasse, Porcelanosa tiles and Parachute linens, steering away from the traditional Florida resort palette.

Guest accommodations range from 325-square-foot Queen rooms to King Family Suites of up to 500 square feet. Some rooms feature kitchenettes, and several provide full ocean views. Custom design elements include murals by local artist Chris Nebel. The property is ADA-compliant and allows pets under 30 pounds. A signature scent, Apotheke White Vetiver, is used throughout its spaces and amenities.

The hotel’s outdoor pool deck features Blomus daybeds, ocean views and The Counter, a poolside cafe serving light coastal fare, wine and beer. Across the street, the 1,200-sq.-ft. Ambros Daytona Wellness Studio will open summer 2025 under Wellness Coordinator Paige Jagger, offering yoga sessions, surf lessons, holistic treatments and massage therapies for both guests and locals.

Ambros Daytona’s concept draws influence from Mediterranean beach clubs that center wellness and social connection. Its aesthetic brings a minimal, modern energy to Daytona, introducing a distinct alternative to the city’s legacy of large-scale hotels. The property sits close to key area attractions, including the Daytona International Speedway—home to the Daytona 500, Rolex 24 and Ferrari Challenge North America—as well as cultural venues such as the Southeast Museum of Photography and the Museum of Arts and Sciences.

As part of an expanding brand revitalizing overlooked Florida coastal towns from St. Augustine to New Smyrna Beach, the hotel aims to support the area’s evolution into a balanced coastal retreat. Ponce Inlet’s surf break, near Daytona Beach Shores, contributes to the destination’s draw for both leisure and sport.

The hotel is 20 minutes from Daytona Beach Airport (DAB) and about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
