As Ponte Vedra Inn & Club approaches its 100th anniversary, the historic North Florida resort is looking ahead with a major redevelopment project that will redefine its coastal experience. The centerpiece of this transformation is a new Sports and Surf Club, designed to elevate both the guest and member experience while honoring the property’s legacy of service and seaside tradition.
Expansion in the Works
Construction is now underway, with completion expected in early 2027. In the meantime, the resort has implemented a series of thoughtful measures to ensure visitors can continue enjoying its signature amenities. A temporary Interim Surf Club, located adjacent to the Atlantic House, provides direct beach access, rentals, grab-and-go dining and The Sun Shop retail space.
The resort’s Gym and Nursery have been relocated across the street, and most guestrooms still offer direct beach access. While the Inn & Club’s recreational pools are temporarily closed during construction, guests have full access to the pools and amenities at The Lodge & Club, just 1.5 miles south, with complimentary transportation available.
Dining across the resort has also been enhanced during this period. The Inn Dining Room remains open for breakfast and evening service. The Golf Club Dining Room is now open daily for lunch and dinner, and The Tavern features expanded hours and a refreshed menu. Additional grab-and-go options are available at the Interim Surf Club.
